Not to listen to my mother, always has been hectic for me.

In December 2022, i attended an exciting concert by the Bangla band "Ashes" at Jahangirnagar University. How smooth it sounds! Isn’t it? Unfortunately, my little journey wasn’t that smooth even though, i live in such a society which is very near to Jahangirnagar University Campus. Let's recall that experience. I was lying on the bed after lunch time. My phone ringed out and it was none other than but my anty, actually i call her Tuli moni. So, Tuli moni asked to me to go with them for hangout at Jahangirnagar University campus. Did you notice, i mentioned, them! Yes there was another 2 people, Asif mama and his niece Soha. So, Asif mama and Tuli moni both are cousin of my mother. Well, as they are very close to my age so we have really an amazing bond. So, by informing my mother i went to JU campus. When i reached, Tuli moni gave me a hug. We were about to sit somewhere and gossip together. We did exactly that, in the meantime we ate pani puri. We were walking and when we came near to the Muktomoncho, we found that some programme was going on by the students of  Jahangirnagar  University. Also we heard that after evening there will be a concert and it’s none other than the "Ashes" band. Wow! Wow! Junayed Evan the vocalist. I am a big fan of this Bangla band "Ashes". I always have their song in my playlists. So, when we heard about the concert we just looked at each other and understood each other's thought. Yes, we decided to attend the concert. Its already evening, the perfect time for 'টঙের চা', without any further delay we had taken 4 cup of tea.

After that we kept going to the Muktomoncho and still their performance was going on. Some of their performance was so good. As it was already pretty late evening, my mother called me and asked when i will go home. Then i just told my mother, a programme is going on, we want to stay for little longer. My mother replied that okay, but i should not be late too much. Yeah, i got some time to relax, to not to worry because i had told my mother. We heard the concert will start at 8:00pm but even at the right time there was no signal of concert. Audiences were restless, also i badly wanted to experience the concert. Its 9:30 pm still the concert had not started, my mother called me and she was scolding me, still i was asking for more time to listen atleast one or two song from “Ashes”. We were just thinking that either way we messed up so why not wait little more, literally we were desperate about the concert. I then called my father and said we all will go at Tuli moni’s house and my father agreed. The most awaited time had come, Junayed Evan was on the stage with his full team. What a crowd! They had started the concert with one of their famous song that is “নিজের জন্য”, it was an overwhelming moment.

Even though I informed my father, still my mother was upset on me. She again told me to leave. I decided, after listening my favorite song, “
সে আমারে” I will leave. Fortunately, then next song they played, it was “সে আমারে” , and as soon as the song had finished we left the spot. We went to the JU main gate and we took bus to go to Tuli moni’s house at Savar. Suddenly our bus did a hard brake because there was a bike infront of the bus, and i was the only person who was injured little. My head hit on the glass, i was just praying nothing big should be happen, what will i tell to my mother? Fortunately, it was a minor accident. As soon as we reached at home, i took a medicine because i had headache. Also, i called my mother and informed her that we are at home now. Even though, that night she didn’t talk with me very well but when the next day i came back at my house my mother was smooth with me and it was a great relief. What I found, that each time i didn’t listen to my mother i had to suffer even for a little things.
